The International Fashion Hall of Madrid will open tomorrow
The 60th edition of the International Fashion Hall of Madrid (SIMM) will be open on July 17th -19th in the Madrid's Fair. This year the event was ready earlier due to how fast the seasons are going. In this way, brands, manufacturers and shops will be able of satisfying the demand of the market.
More than 700 exhibitors and about 1,100 fashion brands will show their collections during next week for the spring-summer 2009 season. Even if the organizers have divided the fair into several sections such as Gala and Male wear, SIMM will focus on bathing suits of different kinds: innovative, elegant, sophisticated, timeless and extravagant. In order to enjoy these lines, you must visit “Alma agua” (water soul), where there will be underwear and fitness stands too. Brazil, as guest of the event, will bring fantasy, freshness and a daring touch.
Trends for spring-summer 2009 are coceived for a feminine but bohemiam woman. The hippy chic style is back with long and airy dresses, tunics and big blouses.
Maxi belts, necklaces and bracelets are the best accessories. About the fabrics, the main ones are silk, cashmere and jacquard, light enough to survive the summer. Regarding the colors, the best are fuchsia, green grass, blue opal, pink lotus, sand and grey.
On the other hand, high waist, drain pipe and bell boots jeans are avant-garde as well as flowery shawls.
